This is a unique, efficient, flexible, low-cost water filtration system, which in objective scientific testing, has performed substantially beyond industry standards and leading market competitors in respect of:

· Filtration capacity for a wide variety of contaminants, including micro-organisms, inorganic elements and organic compounds (e.g. Cryptosporidium & Giardia > 99.99%, Legionella >99.99%, E.coli > 99.99%, Chlorine > 85%, Bromates >93.2% LLD etc.).

· Unassisted flow rates, for domestic and industry usage of 1.2 litres per minute at 100 millibar which is approximately 60 times faster than our closest competitor.

· Comparative production costs (subject to assumptions re-economies of scale etc.)

This technology has been further developed for a wide variety of applications, for example adaptations have been designed & developed for use as follows:

Aqua-Nu Ultra High Flow Rate Ceramic

· The Aqua-Nu ULTRA HIGH FLOW RATE CERAMIC has been the subject of 4 years intensive development, carried out predominantly in-house with input from internationally recognised ceramicists. Diatomaceous earth, also known as Kieselguhr, a siliceous talc-like material derived from ancient deposits of marine diatoms (unicellular algae) known for the symmetrical sculpturing of their cell walls, was selected as the base medium for the ceramic on the basis of previous studies demonstrating its efficacy . · In order to improve its flow rate while maximizing retention of micro-organisms within the ceramic, a honeycomb structure was achieved by inclusion of a specific process. Extensive work has been conducted in developing the ceramic so that very high flow rates (> 1-1.2ltrs per minute at 100 millibar) are achieved whilst ensuring filtration of pathogenic oocysts (Cryptosporidium and Giardia) and bacteria (notably Escherichia coli and Legionella) meets the target requirements. A nutrient, rather than silver, is used in the ceramic in order to prevent blooming of bacteria.

Following laboratory development, we are now pursuing the scaling up of the manufacture of the ceramic by way of a Joint Venture Agreement with Morgan Advanced Ceramic Limited, a subsidiary of Morgan Crucible.

-Filtration capsules are designed for replacement at 30-day intervals.
-Technology can also be applied to household Filter Jugs, Kettles, water taps and other drinking water system.
